Supporting Cyprus villages, Archimandrita, Pafos

Supporting Cyprus villages

Walking around Archimandrita village this summer, we couldn't help to notice that a lot of houses have been abandoned in the past decades.

This though is a fact for many of the villages around Cyprus. Archimandrita, with only 35 residents at the time, is trying to cope with the current situation by investing in infrastructure and in various ways promote its culture and beauty of nature to attract tourism.

In this way it will be possible for jobs to be created and support families who want to come back to their birth place!

Hopefully more attention will be given the next years to support villages and communities that keep on investing and promoting the tradition of Cyprus.
