After our visit at the archaeological site of "Pano Mantilaris" it was time for us to visit the second site at the area.
A bit further down and very close to the Kourris dam we found the archaeological area of "Paliotaverna".
Unfortunately we found the same things as in "Pano Mantilaris". No signs to tell the story of the area, no access, and of course not in a clean condition from the plantation.
We didn't manage to find a lot of things about "Paliotaverna" but it seems to be of around 13th century settlement and has some kind of connection with "Pano Mantilaris".
