Agios Theodoros in Pitsilia area is a small village 1,000 meters above sea level.
Small but beautiful, Agios Theodoros has many stories to tell. Near the centre of the village one can find a well preserved water source called "Vryses". Unlike many others here you can find water coming from the 4 main taps.
Just to realize the importance of water in these villages to be able to survive, at the beginning of the previous century, the construction of the water source was financed by locals who had immigrated in Egypt! In 1935 they send money back home so this construction could take place and help the village revive.
The inscription above the tubs still exists in the memory of those people!
