Trying to get to Dora village in Pafos, we took a road that seemed to be in the right direction. After a while we started wondering if we had made a mistake. The road was bumpy and we were already driving in a country road.
It seemed we had entered an area like a canyon with mountains on our left and right and probably a river in the centre which we could not see.
Soon after we came across an abandoned village called Gerovasa. The wild plantation was covering a big portion of the old and destroyed houses.
With no visible road to get closer, we observed the village from a distance but decided next time to spend some more time there and learn more about Gerovasa.
