It was beautiful day in February and I had just visited Machairas monastery. One of the most well known in the island with long history and tradition. My mind and spirit were relaxed, and my mood just got a lot better (these are the side effects each time I visit the monastery!).
Driving back to the city I took the route towards Farmakas and Gouri villages. On my right I saw Nicosia city spreading beneath the mountains so clear I just had to stop and stare. It was a panoramic view that just made all the problems seem so distant and unimportant at the same time.
