Moutti tis Horas, Spilia village, Nicosia

"Moutti tis Horas"

It was our last stop before we reached Spilia. A cross road at the mountain above the village called "Moutti tis Horas".

Spilia village took its name by the many caves around the area and many stories and legends circulate around the caves.

"Moutti tis Horas", in free translation, means peak of the town. It is actually the highest spot of the village and no wonder they gave it that name.

The view form that peak is wonderful! You can sit there and even enjoy a beautiful sunset if you happen to be around the right time. From there on you can choose to visit a range of villages or sites around the area.
