Church of "Saint George Tropeoforos" at Agios Theodoros,Pitsilia area

I do not know if there is a village with more Churches than Agios Theodoros in Pitsilia.

Build around seven hills, the village had seven Churches! Nowadays only three can be of use and most of the others have been destroyed totally.

The most recent is the Church of "Saint George Tropeoforos"constructed in 1840. Despite its recent construction, inside the Church, one can admire a Gospel estimated around 1550 A.C.!
