After we finished our stop at Gerovasa village we continued to reach Trozena.
We were still on a country road inside the canyon and we didn't know what to expect. Soon after we had to stop once again. Just opposite, on the other side of the mountain, we saw a waterfall coming through the rocky mountains!
Waterfalls are not something common in Cyprus and we were surprised to see one. Much to our delight there was plenty of water coming out. Had we passed a couple of months later we would probably miss it.
On the side of the waterfall we saw some openings and birds nesting. Just below you could hear the river floating although the thick plantation and big trees kept the river from our sight. Just standing there and watching this sight was simply magic!
