We had finally came across Trozena village. A view from the opposite side made the village seem like a fortress.
On top of the mountain looking down the canyon, and a river passing through the village made it look like a great place to be a long time ago.
Now nobody leaves there but it is something unique. Just as we passed the bridge we came close to the village and had a quick look.
A big square with a big tree above it still seems like a nice place to seat and relax in the summer time. Further down is the Church of the village which we did not have the time to visit, but we will surely do next time.
As we left Trozena we saw many old vineyards, a sign of euphoria once upon a time. Perhaps one day this place will become attractive once again since its natural resources can be exploited.
