Crossing Diarizos River
On a Sunday trip Pafos we came across Diarizos river. Having a good raining season, it was no surprise to see the river filled with water.
This time though it was a view we came across for the first time as we were crossing a bridge on our way to the Pafos mountains through Mammonia village. A nice spring day of March with lots of sun!
Diarizos river is the fourth largest river in Cyprus 42 km length. It begins from the mountains of Troodos and goes all the way down to Kouklia village in Pafos. Its name comes from its two roots that form the river.
