It is a common phenomenon to see schools in villages around Cyprus that haven't been used for decades!
The same thing applies to Archimandrita village in Pafos. Once the village had up to 300 people living there with many children filling up the classes.
For decades now this is't the case since most people have abandoned their birth place to move into the city.
Fortunately the school is well preserved by the local authorities who use it now in some cases as a multi-purpose hall. It is located at the entrance of the village as you approach from Kouklia just next to the Church of Saint Theodosios.
Who knows? perhaps one day some schools like this one may be used again!
