After we left Vavatsinia we moved towards the mountains of Machairas close to the famous Monastery of "Panagia Machairiotissa".
Just as we reach the peak of Kionia, which is the highest in the area, fog started surrounding us in a quick pace.
Soon after we were driving very slowly for safety reasons as the fog got thicker.
We decided to stop for a while and take some photos of Kionia and the forest around us until the atmosphere improved so we could safely move on.
The spectacle was really nice and we were lucky enough to see it!
Soon after we continued our trip towards Nicosia.
