Kouklia is a very well known village in Pafos and has many things to see once you are there.
One of them is the Church of "Panagia Katholiki". The Church which is found near ancient ruins was built around the 12th or 13th century.
It was later enlarged with many of the previous elements being hidden and many of the icons destroyed nowadays.
Two important things you can see apart from the architecture once you are there are: First the icon of "Saint Therapon" of around 14th century which is the Saint that cures the sick. "Saint Therapon" is an important Saint of Cyprus and was also a Bishop in the island at some point.
The second thing you can see in the Church is a scene of the "Second Presence" of God on Earth picturing the rivers of Tiger and Euphrates in a humanoid form!
